Tools Technology

Symyx Tools perform automated experiments 10-100x faster, producing richer, more accessible data with technology encompassing robotics, reactors, parallel analysis, and general automation equipment.

Symyx Tools Technology modules are powerful automated experimentation stations, configurable to form broader systems, or workflows, encompassing additional research and development capabilities.

Produce richer, more accessible data, 10-100x faster with Symyx Technology.

Symyx Core Module
A highly modular robotic platform that enables higher throughput, automated workflows in the chemical and energy, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, and consumer and industrial product laboratories.

Symyx Powder Dispense Technology
A turnkey system for filling microplates, capsules, vials, bottles, tubes and other containers.

Symyx Sample Processing
A series of specialized stations for the automated processing, handing, and work-up of laboratory samples. These stations support catalytic, preformulations, formulations workflows.

Symyx  Reactors
A series of proprietary reactor systems for almost all catalytic applications. Reactors are available in many designs and scales from small-scale batch reactors for very high throughput to larger-scale fixed bed flow reactors for gas- or trickle-phase operation.

Analytics
Workflow integration with an unparalleled and growing list of third-party commercially available analytical instruments. In cases where commercial analytics do not exist or do support the throughput required for our workflows, Symyx has also developed a number of proprietary analysis modules.

Lab Execution and Analysis software
A comprehensive software suite to specify and execute experiments consistently, capture and report data. Specify arrays of experiments graphically, execute those experiments consistently, capture data from a range of analytics, and report on multi-dimensional data.
